No. 8 Brindabella Circuit is a 4,300sqm three storey office building located at the centre of the Brindabella Business Park adjacent to Canberra airport. It was the first building in Australia to be awarded a 5 Star Green Star accreditation from the Green Building Council. The 5 Star rating was achieved by a holistic and dedicated approach by the development team from project inception to completion. Externally, 8 Brindabella has the look of a standard office building. The innovation is in the use of currently available sustainable products and efficient services technologies. The result is a building that: is energy efficient, reduces water use, has materials and ventilation rates to eliminate sick building syndrome, and uses recycled concrete, structural steel and timber.
