The Robertson House is a 4 bedroom family house designed to provide the owners with a contemporary lifestyle, in surroundings that have high amenity yet low upkeep. The residence, which re­places an earlier single storey house, is designed to maximize the use of the site. The house is a simple design with a rendered masonry base and light weight zinc cladding to the upper storey. Double glazed windows with aluminium and timber composite frames are used throughout. Interior finishes are similarly simple with the use of stone and timber floors and painted plasterboard walls and ceilings. The landscaping, lap pool and surrounding decks contribute to a low maintenance internal courtyard.
