The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations’ Canberra office at 10 and 12 Mort Street is a 15,500m2 colour filled work environment. Each level is distinguished by its own colour palette which assists greatly with ‘way finding’ throughout the two adjacent buildings.

Working to a tight timeframe allowing for the client’s relocation from other work sites prior to lease expiry, a delightfully cheerful fitout was achieved. The new bright and light-filled lobby and entrance provides a greater street presence and improved access to both buildings.

Feature timber panelling divides the main foyer while the floor and ceiling design create direction and movement to the space, drawing one to the lifts and other amenities.
