The project required the existing AIS Basketball and Netball Centre building to be upgraded with new mechanical units and external cladding.

The existing external metal and fibre cement sheet cladding were replaced with a robust and durable material, with colours that incorporated the new AIS branding. Existing insulation was replaced with a higher performance insulation to conform to current building code.

The existing mechanical units located in each plantroom buildings has been replaced with more efficient units that will service the main hall. These new mechanical units required an extension to the building. The new design was an extension to our original building completed in 1984.
