I have English and Irish heritage, with my family arriving in the early 1990’s. I was born in Dharug Country and currently both live and work on Ngunnawal Country.

Ben is a Graduate of Architecture at our DJAS Canberra office, with almost a decade of professional experience in residential, commercial, and commonwealth projects under his belt, he is a valued team member, demonstrating a strong sensibility to lead and mentor project teams across various project types and stages.

Ben’s architectural career started when he was hired by a bespoke practice on the South Coast of New South Wales as a student, learning the fundamentals of drafting and architecture in practice. He later moved to Canberra to continue his study at the University of Canberra, where he graduated, and was later hired by DJAS Architecture as a Graduate of Architecture.

Ben takes pride in all aspects of a project timeline, from concept design to project completion. Ben’s ability to think creatively and solve problems has been paramount to the Canberra Grammar Primary School project, where he has been heavily involved across concept design, design development and construction project stages.

Ben values the opportunity to work alongside various stakeholders to provide bespoke design solutions that respond to country and place, exploring new sustainable principles, technologies and design solutions that truly align with a client’s brief.

His main objective: Create a better world for people to inhabit.
