DJAS was commissioned in to develop a master plan for the development of a business park at Canberra Airport. The master plan set out a framework of office development sites, public spaces, recreation areas, roads, car parks and landscaping. The core of the development is located within the road loop of Brindabella Circuit, with a southern precinct linked by the main internal pedestrian spine.
The placing of the buildings in the park creates a range of intimate spaces for both active and passive activities. 8000 people will work in the park in an environment that provides a relaxing contrast to the normal activities of the office.
Amenities that the Park provides for its workers include a child care centre, sports complex, and a variety of cafes and retail outlets.
